Oak Bay Golf Club is a natural marvel. Situated in the Township of Georgian Bay, the golf course seamlessly fits with its environment. Golfers can play over rocky outcroppings of the Canadian Shield, while natural wetlands protect some holes. Other holes are made more intimate by being cut out of dense forests of trees.
In the six years since it first opened, Oak Bay Golf Club has been frequently heralded for its impeccable fairways and greens. Featured in magazines such as Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, and Canadian Golf Magazine, the course is known for being one of the most unique and best value-based golf courses in the Muskoka region. Brian Kendall from Globe and Mail remarks that this Shawn Watters designed course has one of Canada’s most picturesque par-threes.

Kendall describes the hole, “perched like an emerald crown atop a gigantic outcropping of Canadian Shield.”

Now under new ownership, Oak Bay Golf Club is reimagined and reinvigorated. The renovated clubhouse provides an incredible menu that touches on rustic Canadian cuisine, mixing in a local approach that highlights the best options available in the Muskoka region. The clubhouse is regularly booming with community events such as Ladies’ Night every Monday, Mens’ Night every Tuesday, and Trivia Thursdays.

Residences feature a variety of housing types, from marina villas to freehold townhouses to singles in two-story and bungalow designs. President of Eden Oak, Romas Kartavicius, and his partners donated 95 acres of their 335-acre site to Georgian Bay Land Trust (GBLT) to isolate the area’s wetlands and habitats in perpetuity from new development.
